First of all, let us introduce ourselves: ESN (Erasmus Student Network) is a non-profit international student organization and we are the section of Corvinus University of Budapest, ESN Corvinus. Our main aim is to support the integration of the incoming exchange students under the principle of Students Helping Students. That’s why we will organize you lots of cultural and social events such as trips to various places within and outside of Hungary, sport tournaments, sightseeing tours, international dinners… and last, but not least, parties. We’ll also try and help you with settling in to your new home by organizing orientation events, creating communication channels and help create a community where you’ll enjoy spending the upcoming months.

This is your official exchange group, you won’t get any spam messages here. Be careful about joining other groups, because it is likely that you will receive lots of spam advertising in those.
You can use this group to organize housing, find classmates, organize programs among yourselves,etc.
Please note that in order to maintain a group that is absolutely spam-free we’re checking everyone’s profile and we’ll only let in those who are proven to be Corvinus University students. If our admin isn’t approving your request to join the group it might be because you’re Facebook name is not the same as your birth name and is not matching with any name on our list or for some reason you’re not on the list provided by the International Office. In either cases please contact us so we can sort out the matter.

A quick overview of what we have planned for the near future:
16-22 January: Hostel Week: https://goo.gl/4IRYqB
Named after the period when most of you are still looking for an apartment and hanging out in hostels, Hostel Week is a week-long sightseeing tour/pub crawl/meet-and-greet all in one.
Every night we’ll go out to a different pub, club or both in Budapest and you’ll have a chance to meet your fellow students and us for the first time and discover the city as well.

You can contact us through our Facebook page, our central e-mail address [[email protected]] or in our office during opening hours.
Our office is located in building E (8 Fovam square, 1093; office E.7 - enter the building through the northern entrance, take the corridor on the right, you’ll find our office at the further end of the corridor on the right side). Our opening hours normally are from Tuesday to Thursday 11.20-15.10 but it varies sometimes, so please check if we’ve communicated a different opening time before coming by.
