The history of Hungary is not always delightful: it is filled with defeats, oppresion and dictatorships. To remember the fascist and communist regimes in the 20th-century Hungary we will visit the House of Terror. The museum is located at the former headquarters of the communist secret police (ÁVH). Besides the exhibits the building is also a memorial to the victims of these regimes, including those detained, interrogated, tortured or killed in the building.
